Hello Delaware TSA! I hope everyone enjoyed their Winter break. Your DETSA state officers have been busy preparing for the Leadership Lunch, which has been rescheduled to Saturday, February 1st at the Duncan Center in Dover. If you plan to attend, make sure to tell your advisor and RSVP to our Sergeant-at-Arms, Quan Bui at [email protected]. To ensure you have a space at the Leadership Lunch, make sure to RSVP as soon as possible.
In other news, the Static Event due date for the State Conference is fast approaching, with less than three months remaining. Here’s a quick event tip from the Delaware TSA State Advisor, Mr. Fitzgerald.
Be sure to demonstrate high quality work in the event binders and all written work that are turned in with the events. They count for a large portion of the final score. Often, it is the quality of documentation in the portfolio binders that helps a judge determine the final score. Judges are likely to perceive that a project entry is incomplete if the binder looks like it might be incomplete or if it looks to be of low quality. Remember that it is the quality of the documentation that truly makes a good entry great!
