2025 State Leadership Conference (SLC)

Dover, DE — [September 10, 2024] — The Delaware Technology Student Association (DETSA) is thrilled to kick off the competitive year with the opening of registration for the Delaware TSA State Leadership Conference 2025. Mark your calendars for an exciting season of STEM challenges, starting with virtual contests from October 2024 to February 2025, leading up to the exhilarating live contests on March 17-18, 2025. Since 1978, this highly anticipated event has been a premier platform for Delaware’s brightest students to showcase their skills, leadership, and passion for technology. The 2025 conference will be held at Clayton Hall, University of Delaware, promising two days packed with opportunities for growth and achievement, including:

  • Competitive Events: Students will have the chance to demonstrate their expertise in a variety of STEM fields through competitions such as Architectural Design, Biotechnology, Coding, Cybersecurity, Digital Video Production, Dragster Design, Engineering Design, Fashion Design and Technology, Geospatial Technology, Inventions & Innovations, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, STEM Animation, Photographic Technology, Robotics, Structural Engineering, System Control Technology, Website Design, and Video Game Design. These events will challenge participants to apply their knowledge and creativity in real-world scenarios.
  • Interactive Workshops: Attendees will engage in hands-on workshops led by industry experts and educators, gaining valuable insights into the latest technological advancements and practical skills.
  • Keynote Speakers: Inspirational figures from the STEM world will deliver motivating talks, sharing their journeys and encouraging students to pursue careers in technology and innovation.
  • Networking Opportunities: The conference will offer ample opportunities for students to connect with peers, mentors, and professionals, building relationships that will benefit their future careers.
  • Awards and Recognition: The event will culminate in an awards ceremony celebrating the accomplishments of participants and their commitment to excellence in technology and leadership.

The Delaware TSA State Leadership Conference 2025 is open to all state recognized chapters of middle and high school students who are passionate about technology and STEM.
