2024 State Leadership Conference (SLC)

Dover, DE — [November 17, 2023] — The Delaware Technology Student Association (DETSA) is thrilled to announce that registration is open for the highly anticipated Delaware TSA State Leadership Conference 2024, with virtual contests to be held October-February of 2024 and live contests to be hosted on March 18-19 of 2024. This annual event held since 1978 promises to bring together the brightest young minds in Delaware to showcase their talents, leadership skills, and commitment to technology and innovation. The Delaware TSA State Leadership Conference will be held at Clayton Hall, located in the heart of the University of Delaware. This two-day event will feature a wide range of exciting activities, including competitive events, workshops, keynote speakers, and networking opportunities for students, advisors, and industry professionals.

Highlights planned for the conference include:

• Competitive Events: Participants will have the chance to compete in a variety of STEM-related competitions, including Architectural Design; Biotechnology; Coding; Cybersecurity; Digital Video Production; Dragster Design; Engineering Design; Fashion Design and Technology; Forensic Technology; Geospatial Technology; Inventions & Innovations; Mechanical Engineering; Medical Technology; STEM Animation; Photographic Technology; Robotics; Structural Engineering; System Control Technology; Website Design; Video Game Design; and more. These events will challenge students to apply their knowledge and problem-solving skills in real-world scenarios.
• Interactive Workshops: Industry experts and educators will lead interactive workshops on cutting-edge technology topics, providing valuable insights and hands-on learning experiences.
• Keynote Speakers: Inspirational keynote speakers will share their journeys and insights, motivating students to pursue careers in STEM fields and become future leaders in technology and innovation.
• Networking Opportunities: Attendees will have the chance to connect with like-minded peers, mentors, and professionals in the STEM industry, fostering valuable relationships for their future careers.
• Awards and Recognition: The conference will culminate in an awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of the participants and recognize their dedication to excellence in technology and leadership.

The Delaware TSA State Leadership Conference 2024 is open to all recognized chapters of middle and high school students who are passionate about technology, leadership, and STEM.
