The state officers are excited to share that the first of several monthly service projects has been a success! The team has agreed that it was a great experience to be able to serve our state and to help keep the beaches of Delaware safe and clean for everyone to enjoy. The State Officers have planned a full school year of service projects in addition to continued support for the American Cancer Society. Do not forget the importance of service to the community as members of TSA! The State Officer team invites you to participate in our monthly service projects. Please feel free to contact us to learn how you may participate!
The week of October 1 – October 5 is National TSA Week! What is your chapter doing in celebration? Below are a few ideas to help you get started:
- Plan your own chapter service project! Find a local organization to volunteer support for, help spread the word about TSA, and get your chapter recognized!
- Host a meeting at your school that showcases the things that your TSA chapter does! Have an in-chapter competition, display past projects, and invite students, parents, and staff.
- Hang up posters and banners about National TSA Week in your school and/or wear TSA t-shirts or other attire to publicize your chapter! It’s your chance to answer the question, “what is TSA?”
National TSA Week is the perfect opportunity for your chapter to showcase your accomplishments to your community. During this week of recognition, you can help raise national awareness for Delaware TSA! Help us spread the word about what makes Delaware TSA great!
