2020 Legislative Appreciation Day (LAD)
The State Officer’s of BPA, DECA, Educators Rising, FFA, FCCLA, HOSA, SkillsUSA, and TSA will meet on May 12, 2020 for Legislative Appreciation Day (LAD). Plan to arrive by 11 am with departure planned for 5 pm.
Meeting Location: Frazier’s Restaurant 9 E Loockerman St, Dover, DE 19901
The Delaware officer teams plan to meet at Legislative Hall for the 151st General Assembly of the State of Delaware to share with legislators our gratitude for the ongoing support that they provide. The officers will plan to present geraniums and cupcakes to members of the Senate and House of Representatives as a token of appreciation. An officer from each organization will speak in the House of Representatives and Senate to share how each CTSO contributes to the community, develops leadership skills, and practices technical skill attainment due to the support of our elected leaders. Dress code will be the official state officer uniforms.
