With just 100 days until the 2012 National TSA Conference in Nashville, TN, students across the state are preparing for a record-breaking State Conference. Registration is complete and students are diligently working on their events with the State Conference is merely a month away!
Over 500 students and advisors are expected to attend the State Conference from 29 schools across the state; this conference is expected to be off the charts. There are nearly 900 entries for different events that range from CAD to Desktop Publishing to Dragster Design. The conference promises to be challenging competitively.
There was more than a 25% increase in student registration this year compared to last. In part, this was helped by the addition of five new schools, bringing our grand total to 29 chapters. The following schools participate in TSA: A. I. duPont High School, Appoquinimink High School, Beacon Middle School, Brandywine High School, Cab Calloway High School, Caesar Rodney High School, Cape Henlopen High School, Concord High School, Conrad High School, Conrad Middle School, Delmar High School, Dickinson High School, Gauger-Cobbs Middle School, Glasglow High School, Indian River High School, Lake Forest High School, Mariner Middle School, McKean High School, Milford High School, Mt. Pleasant High School, P.S. duPont Middle School, Postlethwait Middle School, Seaford High School, Shue-Medill Middle School, Springer Middle School, Sussex Central High School, Talley Middle School, W.T. Chipman Middle School, and William Penn High School.
