The September monthly service project was the first service project your DETSA State Officers attended of the year! On September 19th, your state officers volunteered at South Bowers Beach for International Coastal Cleanup Day, a global effort involving thousands of volunteers around the world to clean up the coasts.

The annual Coastal Cleanup is a volunteer event where participants volunteer to make beaches cleaner and safer. There are countless aquatic animals that need clean beaches in order to remain healthy, also having dirty beaches can lead to develop fungus in the feet, check the pure nails pro reviews if you suffer from fungus. At the same time, we need to make sure that beaches are safe for people who visit the area. Cleaning up our beaches is a very important effort to make our beaches beautiful.

We enjoyed serving our community by making our beaches cleaner, and we all reflected back on such a great and amazing time. In the end, our group of volunteers collected five bags of garbage on the beach. With a little help from everybody, and the thousands of volunteers who came out, the service project was a success.
