Emily Wong, Bridgette Spritz, Steven Vanderloo, Davey McGinnis at the 2010 Making Strides Event

As you may already know, October 23rd at 10 AM is the annual “Making Strides” cancer walk in Wilmington’s Rodney Square. We encourage all chapter members to participate with the state officer team on this day to help a good cause. Help Delaware TSA reach our donation goal by donating here.

All donations go to the American Cancer Society. We hope to see many of you at the walk!

Though TSA focuses on technology, the organization also helps to create tomorrow’s leaders. Part of being a leader is being able to give back to one’s community through community service. The Distinguished Service Award is a way that Delaware TSA is encouraging our family of members to give back, volunteer and lead. Track your service by using the online service form located here to document any service hours completed between September 1st, 2011 and March 23rd, 2012 and become eligible for the Distinguished Service Award. At the 2012 Delaware TSA State Conference, an award will be presented to the Middle School Chapter, High School Chapter and the individual member with the most community service hours. Find out more information by visiting our Service page.

Let’s get out there and give back!

Be sure to check out a brand new video posted to our Video Gallery with photos from the State and National Conference. The video does an awesome job of showing new or interested members how much fun Delaware TSA students have! Get ready for an exciting 2012 everyone!

Thanks to Jen Marshall, Quan Bui, Jessica Wong, Alexandra DiDonato, Eric Tommer, Steven Vanderloo, Monideepa Chatterjee, Shana Dulin, Jordan Estock, Sam Ritts, Sam Ellis and Mike Fitzgerald for the photos.
