Delaware students are proving that classroom learning can lead to national success!

Students from across the First State recently earned top honors at a national STEM competition, demonstrating the knowledge, creativity, and technical skills they have developed through Delaware Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. Their achievements highlight how career-connected learning prepares students to solve real-world challenges while building skills valued by colleges and employers.

Competing against some of the nation’s most talented students, Delaware participants showcased excellence across a variety of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) events. From engineering design and robotics to technology innovation and problem-solving, students demonstrated the teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and technical expertise that define today’s high-demand careers.

These accomplishments reflect the strength of Delaware’s investment in Career and Technical Education, where students gain hands-on experience, apply academic knowledge to authentic challenges, and connect learning with future careers. Through CTSOs and other career-connected experiences, students develop leadership, confidence, and workforce-ready skills while representing their schools and communities on the national stage.

The success of these students also highlights the dedication of Delaware’s CTE educators, advisors, families, and industry partners, whose support helps create meaningful opportunities for students to explore careers, innovate, and excel.

Congratulations to all of Delaware’s students, educators, and schools whose achievements continue to demonstrate that the First State is preparing the next generation of STEM leaders and innovators.
