Winter Leadership Dinner

The Winter Leadership Dinner will be held on January 21, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Collette Education Resources Center (35 Commerce Way) in Dover, DE. The snow date is January 28, 2017. Haunted Trail Service Project

On Saturday, October 29, Delaware TSA (DETSA) State Officers participated in the Haunted Trail fundraiser at Brecknock County Park in Camden, DE. Proceeds from the event went toward supporting the American Cancer Society and other charities. DETSA State Officers Participated in the event. This is the second consecutive year in which DETSA has participated in the fundraiser.

Coastal Cleanup

Delaware TSA (DETSA) State Officers Participated in International Coastal Cleanup day on Saturday September 17, sponsored by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. DETSA State Officers, joined with Delaware SkillsUSA State Officers, cleaned the shore line beneath the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal Bridge. Delaware’s Cleanup is also part of the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup, the world’s largest annual clearing of trash from coastlines and lakes by volunteers.

Fall Leadership Conference

Students enrolled in a Career and Technical Education state approved program of study have the opportunity to attend the annual Fall Leadership Conference being held in Dover at Delaware State University on November 1-2, 2016. 2016-17 State Officer Work Plan

Delaware TSA state officers joined Delaware SkillsUSA to create their annual work plans and participate in team-building activities. The training was held at the Mallard Lodge in Smyrna, DE, from August 10-12.
