Have you heard? Delaware TSA is having a Mini Relay for Life at our State Conference this year!

On April 26th, students and advisors will have the chance to participate in a Mini Relay Event through ACS and show their support for the American Cancer Society. Chapters are encouraged to create teams and collect donations prior to the event by going to www.relayforlife.org/detsade.

For more information or if there are any questions, please contact Jen Marshall.

As I’m sure you are all aware, static events are due this Friday, March 23rd! As everyone puts the last minute touches on their events, I’d like to post a few reminders.

As always, be sure to check out the 2012 State Conference page for all of the latest news and information about the State Conference.

Don’t forget to submit your community service to be counted in the Distinguished Service Award! To do so, check out the news post below.

Though TSA focuses on technology, the organization also helps to create tomorrow’s leaders. Part of being a leader is being able to give back to one’s community through community service. The Distinguished Service Award is a way that Delaware TSA is encouraging our family of members to give back, volunteer and lead.

Track your service by using the online service form located here to document any service hours completed between September 1st, 2011 and March 23rd, 2012 and become eligible for the Distinguished Service Award.

At the 2012 Delaware TSA State Conference, an award will be presented to the Middle School Chapter, High School Chapter and the individual member with the most community service hours. Find out more information by visiting our Service page.

Let’s get out there and give back!
