We would like to present to you our past state officers. These individuals have impacted Delaware TSA greatly.

Akshay Bachavala

Delaware TSA would like to thank Akshay Bachavala, State Officer from 2019-2020, for his endless contributions to the organization. Akshay’s incredible personality and humor created a positive and welcoming environment for not only the team, but anyone he worked with. His dedication was apparent through the countless hours he spent planning, editing, and perfecting promotional/informational videos and graphics this year. As an officer, Akshay led the development of the “How to Create a Work Plan” video, the Virtual Awards Ceremony, and promotional videos for the DETSA State Conference; he also was part of the Communication and Leadership committees. Thank you so much Akshay for your tireless efforts and commitment to Delaware TSA! Good luck at UMD and all of your future endeavors!

As an officer, Apu created and implemented the State Committee Mentoring Program – which allowed students to experience state-level meetings and work on committees – and served as chair of the Leadership committee. Apu was a mentor and leader in and out of TSA, and always the extra step to include and empower everyone. Good luck at Georgia Tech, they are lucky to have you!
