Last October, the Delaware TSA state officers volunteered as actors in an event called Fright Night at Brecknock Park. The haunted attraction is very famous around the Camden and Dover area and has 29 spooky scenes, including an abandoned bus, toxic wasteland, and a maze around a barn.

Fright Night organizers were able to present a check of over $500 to Home of the Brave, an organization that makes it their goal to reduce homelessness among the military veteran population. This group makes sure to provide basic necessities to the homeless such as food, shelter, and clothing, as well as counseling, transportation, and much more.

Your state officers were able to contribute by dressing up and spooking attendees. It was an honor to help out and raise money for the Home of the Brave organization and a fun experience making people scream. We look forward to coming back next October and helping out again!

If you or your chapter would like to attend a service project with your state officers, check out the DETSA Website or contact one of your state officers.
