On February 27th, Postlethwait Middle School will be hosting the Delaware VEX Robotics State Championship. Teams from all around the state will be competing to win one of three bids to the world tournament in Louisville, Kentucky in April. Doors are open at 8:00 am, and all are welcome. On December 14th, your state officers volunteered at a Toys for Tots sorting event in Dover. The distribution center received thousands of toys and your officers helped out by sorting through these toys and hand-picking them for children in need this holiday season. On December 6th, DETSA State Officers volunteered at a fundraiser event for Toys for Tots and Code Purple. We worked the American Legion assisting the two local charities in raising money. At this event, many toys were donated for those children whose families cannot afford them. We also raised money through raffle tickets, and 50-50 drawings.
